Five Continents Technical & Industrial Services - United Arab Emirates - BASIC FUNCTION: Coordinates, monitors and verifies mechanical engineering (static/rotating) aspects in the major projects. Participates in technical bid evaluations. Evaluates design change authorization requests related to mechanical equipment. Follows project progress through FEED/EPC/provisional acceptance certificate, warranty period and final acceptance certificates. Participates in in-house HAZOP and P&ID reviews and ensures compliance with applicable engineering standards. Attends vendor’s inspections and factory acceptance tests relating to mechanical equipment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 10 years experience in plant engineering, design and project management preferably in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry. Good working knowledge of relevant computer applications and software. Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable....
