Business Development Manager – Gov. Bodies

Manage the business development & Identifying potential business opportunities of the companies government projects.
Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain and execute the annual Business Development Plan; as well as prepare the annual Work Plan for the target government customers
• Assist in the evaluation of growth opportunities and other strategic relationships with the government entities in Qatar
• Continually update the strategy to reflect the changing business priorities of the government entities in the fiber and broadband sectors
• Implement business performance and conduct gap analysis between target and current capabilities, and assist in designing viable plans and program structures to address issues arising as a result of the analysis
• Liaise with the Legal Division to analyze the legal/regulatory implications of pursuing new strategic business development opportunities within the local and international markets in companies priority programs.
• Assist the Business Development Director in identifying and addressing planning & development issues that support the development of companies competitive strategy in the market
• Develop an actionable and integrated business development strategy targeting the government entities; including clearly defined priorities in collaboration with the Project Heads and the Business Development Director
• Determine whether the companies objectives are aligned with the overall strategy and recommend appropriate actions to the Business Development Director
• Assist in developing contractual agreements with selected partners and coordinate efforts with the Contract Manager in the Sales and Account Management Department
• Prepare periodic reports with respect to the Business Development activities and achievements to be reviewed by the Business Development Director and submitted to the Chief Commercial Officer
• Assist with and/or develop business development proposals for potential and target customer segment
• Keep up-to-date on changes in the Telecommunication Industry
• Investigate the economic conditions surrounding the company such as industry trends, market conditions, etc
• Practice duties and roles in line with the authorities as illustrated in the authority matrix
• This covers the key responsibilities to be performed, but is not all inclusive. It doesn’t preclude other responsibilities from being assigned and undertaken
