Role Objective:
The technical risk management engineer will be responsible of minimizing the overall information technology IT security risk of the on-boarded entities by identifying, analyzing, reporting and driving the mitigation of security vulnerabilities within the network, endpoint, and infrastructures of the entity in a consistent and expeditious manner. By minimizing the internal and external IT security risks, vulnerability management helps defend against proprietary and entity data loss, and reduces the ability for threat actors to carry out malicious activities against the on-boarded entity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Operational:
Support the company as an expert in the solution portfolio, including answering statement of compliance documents, developing solution descriptions, writing and reviewing marketing and sales material
Stay abreast of up-to-date integration methods and tools and ensure that all system integration related personnel utilize these methods and tools
Provide guidance to overcome business challenges and risks involved in system integration related operations
Support business development/sales staff (where required), in client contact to discuss technical requirements and solution alternatives. Advise and participate in client presentations, site visits and tours
Apply the decomposition-integration paradigm in managing the implementation of complex system interfaces
Mentor teams on design and coding best practices, port let design, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and reuse opportunities
Manage internal and external resources in the full development lifecycle of software solutions for client's business needs
Understand the business processes/business flows and the underlying technical architecture of the software solutions
Ensure the satisfaction of customer requirements and customer expectations from pre-sales through to the implementation stages of the project
Manage and participate in the solution analysis, solution design, delivery, specifications & customer interface from a solution perspective
Participate in customer projects, including the definition, management and verification of solutions, analyzing the customer's processes and requirements, perform dimensioning, estimate cost for customer adaptations, prepare and write solution descriptions and secure the technical functionality and quality of delivery
Own the application architecture by providing production support, assisting in defining development and usage standards, and helping to ensure compliance with those standards
Manage the development of the architecture for the programmes, ensuring alignment with the particular organization's information technology strategy and business priorities
Manage the development of technical design documents for conversions, extensions, interfaces, and reports
Manage the overall design of the system and solution architecture, taking into consideration system integration and implementation issues
Collaborate on specific components of the business solution and evaluating the relationships with the overall systems
Communicate frequently with development teams, infrastructure teams and business to share experience and best practice. Use these sessions to lay foundation for more formal communication when issues arise
Assist in establishing preliminary project development schedules and estimates, conceptual/logical architectures, system documents, testing analyses, test plans …etc
Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology
Provide direction to technical staff regarding technical solution needed to meet business requirements and support business processes
Incorporate Malomatia's broad range of service offerings, products and emerging technologies within solutions design
Work with the management to refine and evolve the Malomatia's service offerings in response to changes in technology, standards, policies and regulations
Shift focus from tactical, project-level architecture towards strategic architecture development
Carry out all other duties within the area of Solution Architecture as and when requested by the management
People Management:
Allocate work to subordinates, nominate for training as per organization’s guidelines, conduct performance reviews and manage leave and overtime to ensure efficiency
Supervise direct reportees in their day-to-day tasks and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback and counseling. Provide recommendations for the Director Professional Services on hiring and promotions
