Doha, Qatar - A 3-year Research Fellow position is available as soon as possible, working on a project funded by the Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) and led by Dr Muthanna Samara. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic researcher who is interested in the development of premature children. The researcher will be expected to perform systematic reviews and study the risk factors and the consequences of prematurity, and collect data from mothers and their premature babies and children. The research fellow, who will be based in Qatar, will be responsible for liaising with hospitals, recruiting and interviewing parents, data analysis and the day-to-day running of the study. The post also has to be fluent in the English and the Arabic languages. The research fellows will also be involved in the writing-up of journal articles and dissemination of findings in workshops and conferences and writing grant proposals.
