Manager, Business Unit Planning & Implementation (Freelancer)

To oversee strategic and business planning at the level of QF divisions, centers and directorates, ensuring that QF entitles have clear, coherent plans that align to QF's strategic objectives and planned impact. To coordinate with QF entities on the Implementation of QF corporate-level initiatives and project manage specific initiatives championed by SPD.
Key Result Areas:
- Oversee and enhance a policy and process for development, review and update of QF center strategic plans
- Oversee review of center strategic plans of existing centers for clarity, internal consistency, strategic alignment to QF's planned impact, alignment to needs in Qatar and potential overlap with other national stakeholders and other QF entities
- Plan and organize research required to assess center strategic plans such as identifying international best practices or leading organizations in the field, along with recent local and regional developments and the evolving mandates of national stakeholders
- Oversee review of strategic plans of newly incubated centers and provision of support such as use of QF strategic plan templates and provision of facilitation to establish the various contents of the plan such as mission, vision, strategic objectives, KPIs / targets and initiatives
- Work with the Corporate Strategy & Analysis Department in designing a process for the development, review and update of a 5 year QF level business plan, maintaining up-to-date growth assumptions on the various aspects of QF
- Oversee and enhance a process for development, review and update of QF entity business plans
- Provide analysis and recommendations as requested on whether or not a proposed QF center should proceed
- Establish a process for the development and review of business plans at Division level and ensure that underlying center plans are effectively aligned
- Ensuring close integration of strategic plans with business plans, particular for new initiatives that may require an Interim business plan before they finalized a strategic plan
- Ensure that all relevant QF entitles have strate ic and business.fans and to establish internal policies and processes to ensure that this happens
