As an Account Manager, you are responsible for securing bulk orders from SMB businesses, managing key accounts of clients and maintaining a long term relationship with them, in order to obtain, sustain, and exceed a maximum amount of the targeted sales and increase revenue, as it is the main purpose of this role. The Account Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that clients’ expectations and requests are met. This role profile requires the Account Manager to be proactive, team-oriented, hold strong closing skills, and is an effective decision maker.
 
Your Duties and Responsibilities are to:
· Secure new functional business opportunity pipelines through your own initiative and with the support and guidance of the Unit Leader and develop core propositions and generate new business leads through networking and contact new potential clients.
· Act as an advocate in new business deals through holding responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
· Act as the key interface between the client and all the relevant divisions in the company.
· Deal with clients at all levels of an organization in a confident manner and have the ability to grasp new opportunities as they are presented.
· Follow up, support and take on any potential new business clients as directed by the Unit Leader.
· Cold Call prospective new business clients on a regular basis.
· Produce client-specific proposals, and attend customer meetings and presentations, at all times aiming to persuade prospects/clients of the benefits of Etisalat’s products and services.
· Manage the sales process from the initial opportunity through the securing of the client order, and ensure successful service delivery upon the completion of application forms.
· Adhere to the company rules and regulations (i.e. written or implied), quality procedure,
and any changes or introductions which may vary from time to time as deemed
appropriate by the management.
· Perform other similar duties as they may occur from time to time, as instructed and agreed by the Unit Leader.
· Attend and contribute to sales meetings, presentations and training courses.
· Maintain company values and keep company’s information strictly confidential at all times.
· Maintain excellent and up-to-date product knowledge, along with the competitive market conditions; Etisalat promotional offers; and technical services.
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in trade shows and conventions; being involved in professional organizations; and attending educational workshops. Also maintain knowledge through self - directed learning, by reviewing professional publications and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices for improving knowledge and skills.
