Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager - Parsons International Limited

The Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Company’s Management System in compliance with the company corporate policies, International Standards and Client’s requirements. Implementation of the QS may require development or modification of Corporate procedures. As per project needs the development of a project-specific Quality Plan, as a road map of the Project Quality Requirements, is recommended even not required by the contract.

The Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager monitors the establishment by the construction contractors of quality-assurance (QA) programs sufficient for the Project. Monitors and audits the quality related activities, outlined in the Quality Plans, to confirm that products or services provided are by client requirements. Periodically conducts detailed audits to assess the level of compliance with the QA systems, procedures, and related-quality activities. Regularly interacts with Construction Director, Group Managers /SREs and individual Project Managers/REs to assess on-site activities (client‘s design and construction contractors). Reports and provides regular updates to the Area Quality Manager.

Supports monitoring the preparation and issuance of project specific Quality Plans, QA/QC processes and procedures in compliance with client’s quality requirements; and monitors that these are implemented effectively.

Plans direct and performs QA/QC audits, reviews, surveillance and follow-ups of individual projects.

Identifies and reports to the Senior Resident Engineer and as-per-needs to Construction Director and the Area Quality Manager on quality issues or trends based on data from a variety of sources.

Supports implementation of appropriate corrective action to quality issues.

Provides input to management on projects performance metrics, and process or procedural system improvements.

Assumes additional responsibilities as directed by the SRE.
