ArcSDE/Database Administrator - One Vision for Consultancy W.L.L.

1. Full Administration of RDBMS (Oracle and SQL Server) and Spatial Database (ArcSDE)
2. Administration and Maintenance of ArcGIS Database Replicas.
3. Monitor user access and security
4. Control access permissions and privileges
5. Monitor database performance and manage parameters to provide fast responses to users
6. Upgrade or Install and test new versions of the database management system and ArcSDE
7. Tune database parameters to ensure optimum operation
8. Write database documentation
9. Develop, manage, and test back-up and recovery plans
10. Ensuring that storage, back-up, and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
11. Work closely with GIS project managers, GIS Application Developers and Utility Engineers to achieve the optimum system performance.
12. Perform SDE version management.
13. Maintain and update logical and physical data models related to all GIS networks (spatial and schematic) along with their associated layer files.
14. Communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
