Senior Sales Engineer

Summary/Objective

The Senior Sales Engineer position is responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Essential Functions

2. Develops and implements strategic marketing plans along with the management, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for the assigned products and services.
   
3. Develops and manages the assigned sales/marketing operating budgets along with the management.
   
4. Coordinates Product management with Field Sales organization.
   
5. Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio as per the budget set and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
   
6. Ensures effective control of marketing results, after discussing with management for approval / comments to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
   
7. Monitors the products and projects assigned by the company in relation with competitors’ products, sales and marketing activities.
   
8. Establishes and maintains relationships with clients.
   
9. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly in relation with the local market.
   
10. Represents company in some local trade association meetings to promote product.
    
11. Meets with clients, maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
    
12. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
    
13. Reviews and analyzes sales performances, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
    
14. Directs product research and development along with the management.
    
15. Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
