Reports to General Manager
Summary/Objective
The operations manager is responsible for the delivery of professional services, service configurations, and technical standards. In addition, the position provides technical guidance for complex customer solutions, engineering support, product research and technical leadership.
Essential Functions
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of products, services, functions, features and benefits.
- Define and manage professional services for projects implementation.
- Maintain quality control through establishing and maintaining technical operations standards
- Manage Technical Operations team.
- Manage relationship with vendor support services team.
- Obtain and maintain vendor certifications necessary for company vendor status.
- Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost.
- Communicates with all relevant employees to ensure delivery times are met
- Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis
- Creates a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines using PM software such as (primavera & MS projects)
- Communicates any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties
- Confirms that health and safety regulations are followed
- Provides guidance and leadership to employees
