The Legal Director is responsible for a wide range of general corporate, commercial and financing matters and other projects, offer counsel on legal issues, create an effective guardian of the organisation and facilitate business strategies development

Description

Assist with defining and developing corporate policies, procedures and programs

Assist with managing the entire Bank's legal and reputation risks in its corporate and investment activity

Related compliance and regulatory matters, transaction risk-management, the management, coordination and execution of asset acquisitions and disposals as well as investor relations matters

Assist with providing transactional guidance to the real estate, infrastructure, private equity and venture capital deal teams by participating in deal team investment discussions and investment implementations.



Provide legal input on the launch of new products and structuring of private investment vehicles, and private funds

Resolve policy and procedure in coordination with outside counsel and committees

Special projects on ad hoc basis

Profile

Candidates who apply must meet all of the below criteria:

• 4 - 8 years combined post qualifying experience within Private Practice and in-house - with particular involvement in the Investment/Banking industry
• Bachelor of Laws from a renowned international University
• Arabic speaking, reading and writing (preference, not a must)
