Client Details
Global Retail Bank that is setting up their first location in the Middle East.
Description- This role will be end to end IT Management including hands on systems admin as well as setting up and running the IT function from scratch. You will be the first IT person on the ground so will need to perform a greenfield set up.
- Manage and maintain Windows based core services including Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL server, Cluster Services, RDS Services, CA Services
- Support Windows and Linux client systems
- Control user access to the network
- Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network operating systems in support of business processing requirements
- Responsible for testing and implementing new technologies within the Bank
- Maintain core network services including NTP, DNS, DHCP, Radius
- Maintain networking equipment including switches, routers, FC switches and any Corporate Storage Systems
- To perform the general management of the IT under supervision.
- To develop, administrate and secure trouble-free functioning of the local (computer) network of the Bank
- To organise and supervise the prompt and professional user support services in the Bank.
- To organise, supervise and provide business and system analysis for tasks and projects initiated by departments and the Management of the Bank.
- To supervise contracts related to purchases of software and hardware required by the Bank.
- To supervise the maintenance of the main contracts with the hardware suppliers, software vendors and other service providers for the Bank.
- To establish working groups for the implementation of the most important automation projects, to participate in their activities, to manage relevant projects.
Profile
Expertise in managing the full-scale IT function
Track record of setting up IT function is a strong advantage
University degree in Mathematics/Technology; Executive Education is a plus
Fluency in English; Arabic/ Russian will be considered a strong advantage.
Administration of Windows and Linux systems/products
