Purpose of the position
The IT Support’s main responsibility is to ensure that all computers, printers’ software programs and networks are working properly. (S)he has to follow up with the staff to archive their emails and backup important documents.
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Installing and supporting Windows 2003 server and network.
• Installing and maintaining all hardware, software programs, networks and printers within the company.
• Providing new employees with an email address, computer username and password, door access password.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, network operating systems and local printers.
• Updating the management with accurate evaluation regarding the status of all computers on a monthly basis.
• Recommending purchasing and suppliers upon the company’s needs.
• Marinating good business relationship with suppliers in favour of ADabisc.
• Doing a regular check-up and updating the backup system.
• Ensuring security and legalization of all software programs.
• AVAYA maintenance and client headsets (in coordination with the client supplier).
• Maintaining door-access software.
• Making sure that the Internet connection is working perfectly and file-sharing process in the shared folders.
