Kuwait City - The pastry chef is primarily responsible for creating desserts, sweets etc., shall consult with the executive chef to create deserts that go with the menu. Create and prepare desert menu items. Is responsible for determining what items need to be purchased for the kitchen and submitting a budget for those items. Supervise other kitchen staff who assist in the preparation of desserts. Demonstrates hands on approach to all bakery products produced in the Pastry Department insuring quality, presentation and consistency standards meet company standards. Responsible for complete set up, cleanliness and organization of the Pastry Department and bakery areas at all kitchen locations.
