Doha, Qatar - A vacancy for a Telecommunications Engineer to work on a major GCC marine project for a European Systems Integration Consultant team. The prime purpose of the role is to participate in the monitoring of contractors progress, reviewing initially the design and then implementation of deliverables to ensure that systems are delivered according to contract requirements and technical specifications. The Telecommunications Engineer shall be responsible for Telecommunications systems such as local area network (NPP LAN), Cyber security, Wireless Network (WLAN), Satellite and IP TV (SAT/ IP TV), IP Telephony, Tetra, 3G and LTE, Integrated Communication Systems (ICS), etc Responsibilities include: Reviewing and commenting on Contractor's drawings and documents of the relevant systems during the design and implementation phases.
