Petroplan - Qatar - Our Client, a Large Oil & Gas Company based in Qatar are looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer in a permanent residential role.Key responsibilities will include:* Formulating mechanical engineering designs associated with the project scope including design basis, FEED and EPIC scope preparation and execution, design/safety/operations reviews, procurement of equipment, FAT's, vendor selection, and timely resolution of technical and engineering issues.* Developing design scope and ensuring that deliverables are in compliance with the applicable Codes, Standards, Project and Corporate requirements and procedures.* Supporting the coordination and alignment of mechanical interfaces between the project phases and directing the contractors design efforts accordingly taking into account safety, startup, cost and constructability impacts.* Establishing professional work relationships with FEED and EPIC contractor, dealing with any technical queries and interpretation of scope, specifi...
