Qatar - Antibodies are invaluable tools for diagnostic and therapeutic applications because of their high binding affinity and specificity. The goal of this project is to develop and engineer novel confirmation-specific antibodies with high-affinity for amyloid protein aggregates (oligomers and fibrils) associated with neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. The successful candidates should have extensive knowledge in the following techniques: protein and antibody engineering, monoclonal antibody production, and ELISA development.
