Investigating and reporting all incidents/accidents as per our Client's and legislative requirements ensuring that root causes are identified and remedial actions are closed out. Promptly informing Resident Engineer and Safety Manager of incidents. Providing in-house HSS training to Atkins site personnel and if necessary the Contractor, to equip them for working on the project in a healthy and safe manner. Advising members of the project team on application of the systems and procedures when requested or when observations suggest such is necessary. Checking that traffic management plans and diversions have suitable and sufficient signage, barricades and lighting. Assisting in the development of emergency response plans and arrange for drills to be conducted. Participating in emergency drills and responses as required.
