Qatar - Overall Description Provide expert technical advice and support on the design, construction and modification of electrical systems, vendor and contractor support, vendor identification, procurement strategies, and cost estimates. Provide overall technical guidance during the conceptualization, definition and engineering of OPD’s projects, especially Cat III, and serve as liaison between TSS and Project Execution and Technical Department. As such take an active role in the execution of the main project review activities. Tasks and Responsibilities The Specialist Electrical Engineering is expected to: Screen the preparation of the Gate 2 packages of critical and complex projects, including Cat III. Endorse the Gate packages of Cat IV-III projects, and participate in the Gate meetings. Participate in the CERs and IPRs of major projects.
