Functional:
To coordinate, oversee and help to deliver an annual operating plan.
To achieve sales growth and budgeted growth through developing winning strategies and people development.
Assess the business and develop store business plans that support corporate retail initiatives, and track the results .
To manage the measurement and analysis of internal processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of those processes .
To ensure operational activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general care of duty .
Personnel:
To develop the functional, methodological, interpersonal and personal skills of area managers and Store Managers, with measurable goals that tie into the overall retail plan .
To build effective partnerships with support departments to maximize overall performance of Retail division .
To ensure direct reporting line is fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements
Controlling:
To measure progress on stores’ KPIs
To monitor all reports
To compare results to stores’ budget
To collate and review economic factors
To review and control stores’ shrinkage levels
To review and respond accordingly to mystery shopper results
To monitor and drive store business plans
