• Verify accident facts, determine policy coverage and review insurance contracts
• Review settled insurance claims to determine that payments and settlements have been made in accordance with company practices and procedures. Report overpayments, underpayments, and other irregularities. 
•  Prepare insurance forms to indicate repair cost or cost estimates and recommendations
• Help settle claims which will benefit both the customers and the insurance company
• Conduct regular meeting with the insurance companies to get up to date with new policies and practices.
• Collecting evidence needed to support contested claims in court
• Deciding on how much money will be paid out to the policyholder or claimant in damages
• Processing of customer accounts. They also help customers calculate the monthly rates, giving them the best way to collect payment or periodic rates payable by the customer
