United Arab Emirates - Opportunity for a Contracts Engineer to join a Global Oil and Gas Operator on a contract assignment based in Sharjah, UAE. Key responsibilities will include: Acting as a member of the Contract and Procurement Team and reporting to the Contract and Procurement Manager. Supporting administer contracts for the Southern Fields Development Project. Supporting Contract and Procurement Manager and other staff on EPC contract management activities. Establishing and maintaining contract registers and files. Following policies and procedures established by the procurement function. Performing administration of contracts. Conducting negotiations when required. Participating in other procurement activities when required. Hiring personnel. The ideal candidate will have: 2-7 years of experience in a Contract Engineer role, including contract management. A BSc Degree would be preferred. Excellent command of English both written and oral. Knowledge in French would be an asset....
