College/Department Profile:    


The College of the North Atlantic - Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Part-time Faculty, Web Developer, in the School of Information Technology. Reporting to the Department Chair, the Part-time Faculty, Web Developer, must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the school of Information Technology in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.


Duties & Responsibilities:


The instructor will plan, develop and deliver instruction in Information Systems – Web Developer courses to students enrolled in a variety of college-level academic programs within the discipline. S/he will evaluate student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment. The instructor will liaise with industry and other educational institutions; participate in industry advisory committees and coordinate, manage and control projects within the specified program area. Instructors will keep course portfolio documents required for accreditation processes and engage in instructional development/improvement plans. All employees are expected to contribute to professional and community life within the College and beyond. 


Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning and student success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.
