Will be responsible for managing all day to day operations of the store whilst providing leadership towards the achievement of sales targets, maximum profitability and growth in line with customers/sales team satisfaction and company vision and values.
Responsibilities:
• Plans store activities and design KPIs measurements
• Analyses market trends to provide inputs for strategic planning
• Prepares (SWOT) analysis to evaluate retail chain performance
• Gathers and analyses competitors price trends, new product introduction and takes the required actions.
• Analyses stock movement trends to provide reports for the fast moving items,slow moving items, or non-moving items.
• Reviews multiple data sources to ensure forecasting accuracy
• Ensures the stock handling procedures are followed (Price tags, clean and
stored properly).
• Prepares the list of non/slow-moving products with the comments for further
action twice a year.
• Verifies daily sales report.
• Ensure safety and security of products at all times
• Directs the retail sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement
of sales targets and maximum profitability
• Hires, inducts and trains sales personnel
• Determines priorities and timetables, assign resources/tasks and provides
performance feedback
• Provides direct provision which includes objective setting, performance
management, motivation as well as training and coaching
• Conducts appraisal and assessment of own team members and ensure proper
individual development plans are in place
