We are currently recruiting for the below mentioned position:

Title: Manager - Digital Channels Delivery

Location: Manama, Bahrain

Job Role:

Provide thought leadership and solid/credible technical expertise in leading Digital Banking initiatives such as Internet, Mobile and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) technologies .



Gain understanding of the existing IT landscape (Systems, Environment, Applications and Technology) and design new systems/components leveraging the existing framework

As an Integration lead/specialist understand system's interdependencies and provide recommendation on architectural changes required to scale systems, manage risks and costs in line with the banks IT strategy

Manages and lead Application Development and interfacing/integration of packaged solutions

Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and development teams

Managing projects using standards-based waterfall and Agile Methodology

Effectively multi-task and adjust to a deadline and goal-driven environment catering to new initiatives as well as support/maintenance/enhancements of existing systems

Provide oversight and guidance to all assigned personnel throughout each project's duration

Understand budgeting processes, including the allocation and monitoring costs of projects against budget

Ensuring information security requirements are met in all delivered software, reviewing historic penetration testing reports and making sure new developments do not introduce new vulnerabilities

Interface effectively and collaborate with peers, management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of projects and stakeholder buy-in

Improve quality of digital channels based on analysis of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) reports and stats and produce actionable items (fixes/enhancements)

Ensure adherence to PMO policies and guidelines throughout a project's lifecycle

Provide coaching and mentoring for team members

Ensure alignment of work and team members objectives with the organizational vision and strategy

Monitor individual team member's performance and provide timely performance feedback



Required Experience

5+ years of experience in a similar management/leadership role in the financial industry

10+ years hands-on experience in full software delivery life cycle including requirements design, development, testing, code release cycle and implementation

Strong technical background with Java and exposure to different web and mobile application development frameworks with digital transformation exposure and object-oriented design is required.

Understanding of different design patterns with Strong database knowledge in MS SQL

Functional knowledge on banking principles and business lines will be a clear advantage.

Good experience in application profiling and performance tuning

Experience in production support of software solutions

Understanding of Continuous integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles

Understanding of Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) standards and guidelines

Understanding containerization and microservices architecture and experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes

Proven experience in improving software quality by automation in every phase of SDLC

Knowledge in one or more of the following: Enterprise Architecture, Analytics and Data Science, or Business Process Analysis and Reengineering

Demonstrable skill with MS Project and MS Word



Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is required

PMP Certification, Lean Six Sigma or Agile Scrum certification
