The responsibilities of this role also include: Providing First Line Support for all the incident & problems that appear on the Unix and Linux systems. Administering the servers HP/SUN/Huawei ATAE to ensure high availability and performance of the systems as per the due diligence list. Perform proactive fault detection, diagnostic procedures and monitor server use and capacity Assist in forecasting server capacity and hardware/software requirements Providing inputs and suggestions during the evaluation of any new hardware that may be required in future to cater to the business growth. Provide automatic email/SMS alerts for planned/unplanned outages & traffic load, disk capacity to group of people, as required Troubleshooting host level problems, network connectivity issues and managing security.
