Follow up is to be carried out through written fax messages, e-mails, telephone calls and arranging meetings with the suppliers where necessary. - Ensure that suppliers have to deliver goods as per purchase order delivery date and any deviation whatsoever should be sorted out or reported to the Procurement Manager immediately to make sure that there should be no delay in delivery of materials. - Handle warranty claims and wrong supplied materials and follow up with the suppliers to ensure that necessary replacements etc. are arranged within short span of time to avoid any disruption in the operations. - Ensure that all urgent and shutdown requirements are properly processed by procurement team and later followed up with the suppliers to ensure prompt delivery as stipulated in the purchase orders. - Handle freight forwarding ...
