Kuwait - SAMS-2E Operator (KBO) Description POSITION SUMMARY: Under direct supervision of the PPC Supervisor, this position is responsible for the transfer, processing and output of all required reports and data exchange. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: Operates and maintains the Standard Army Maintenance System (SAMS)-2E to receive FTP data transferred from the MMD Field Maintenance Support (FMS) SAMS-1E sites at located at Camp Arifjan and Buehring. Ensures FTP data is received in a timely manner and in the correct sequence and contacts the FMS Sections with follow-up information and retrieves feedback information relevant to the operation. Ensures daily, weekly, midmonth and end if month FTP transfers to Sustainment Brigade, Kuwait are sent as directed by DOL. As directed by DOL will send FTP transfer to LOGSA Ensures backups are maintained IAW SAMS-2E End User Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.
