Harrington Petroleum DMCC - Dubai - 1 Job Summary To monitor and control day-to-day ship operation and all related parties and ensure that all technical tasks in this regard are performed in accordance with the company’s procedures. Ship operator is a very responsible position and often called upon to provide technical support within other areas of ship operations such as crew management, logistics related to operations, service and maintenance of the ship. In all mentioned areas, ship operator shall report to operations manager. 2 Responsibilities • Liaise with P&I club over cargo, contract disputes • Speed and performance monitoring • Voyage result monitoring and prepare related databases including daily consumption of bunker and luboil • Bunker procurement and dispute resolution • Monitoring ships positions • Ensuring ships comply with port requirements, verifying port restrictions for new trades, etc. • Ensuring through ship management Co ships are prepared for statuary and classification surveys. • Maintenance manag...
