Kuwait - PRIMARY TASKS: Under the instruction of teaching staff and Head of Department, the Teaching Assistant is expected to do part or all of the following. 1. Assist the Faculty with their teaching duties, including: preparation of course materials, mentoring students in need of help and proctoring examinations, etc. 2. Prepare and maintain classroom materials/resources/displays. 3. Provide clerical and administrative support e.g. photocopying, typing, filing, etc. 4. Encourage student interaction and engagement with Faculty led activities. 5. Support and supervise students in lessons in relation to learning strategies. 6. Be aware of student problems and achievements and report to faculty as appropriate. 7. Undertake student record keeping under the faculty's supervision. 8. Comply with ACK policies and procedures relating to student information confidentiality and data protection and report any concerns to the appropriate person. 9.
