KKT X-ray and Diagnostic Technician

Job Purpose

The X-ray Technician is responsible for providing radiological and diagnostic services in accordance with established standards of practice and objectives in order to ensure that the KKT Medical Team has the diagnostic data necessary to diagnose, treat and manage diseases of the spine.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Prepares patients for radiological procedures, explains x-ray procedures to patients, sets up the equipment, positions the patient to produce quality images and generates x-rays following established safety procedures.
2. Digitizes x-rays according to KKT protocols, reviews and uploads x-rays using Spinalytics® software.
3. Ensures that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Reports any equipment malfunctions accordingly.
4. Maintains diagnostic room, orders and re-stocks radiological and diagnostic supplies as necessary.
5. Maintains confidentiality of patient information ensuring information is shared outside the health care team only with the patient’s permission or as legally required.
6. Monitors all Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures and practices to ensure that staff and equipment are performing in accordance with acceptable standards and diagnostic images are accurate and reliable.
7. Participates in KKT sponsored community events in order to educate the public and professionals on spine related concerns and the treatment breakthroughs available through KKT.
8. Acts in a manner consistent with the professions code of ethics and standards of practice.
9. Getting the analysis and uploading them, prepare comparative views of patients with revaluation x rays to show the pre and post treatment change
10. Keep record of patients with marked improvement
11. Communicating with KKT x-ray analysis team as per requirement
