Abu Dhabi - ABOUT CLIENT: Abu Dhabi-based ports operating company is hiring Second Engineers who will be accountable as directed by the Chief Engineer for the supervision of the engine department and maintenance of machinery. Key Responsibilities: a. Standing Engine room watches. b. Performance of all vessel work in accordance with safe work practices, policies and procedures. c. Assist the Chief Engineer in the routine maintenance, care and supervision, cleanliness of the vessel machinery and machinery spaces. d. Monitoring proper operation and condition of equipment and the maintenance of proper watertight integrity of the vessel. e. Assisting in the transfer, loading and discharging of dry and liquid bulk cargoes, consumables and water ballast as directed by the Chief Engineer. f.
