Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Installs Operating Systems Win98, Win XP, Win NT, Win 2000, Win 2003 etc. - Installs device drivers & hardware components. - Installs and configures the system. - Configure printer,modem,scanner. - Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration. - Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization. - Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access. - Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information.
