United Arab Emirates - Job purpose & Scope: Monitors all construction activity related to instrumentation and installations in the yard highlights any noncompliance issues that may require addressing. Liaises with other trades for onsite inspections. Attends all handover meetings and other project meetings. Reviews and upgrades contract documents, P&ID drawings as required. Principal Accountabilities: Monitors construction & commissioning activities within his area and ensure that these activities are carried out in accordance with the contractual obligations and company guidelines. At the yard, inspects instrumentation, equipment, structures or materials to identify any defects and report to his supervisor. To observe and check PLC system and associated data acquisition systems, piping isometrics , plant layout , P&I diagrams, plant plot plan drawings, construction drawings related to control systems and to ensure it is in accordance with company standards , codes and practices.
