Abu Dhabi - Job Expiry: Jul 11, 2015 Participate in and provide work instruction to technicians in the maintenance, repair, overhaul and testing of a variety of mechanical equipment both on site and in the workshops. Principal Accountabilities: Receive work orders, review assigned work, arrange for necessary materials, tools, equipment and 'permits to work', assign tasks and follow-up until satisfactory completion. Inspect and diagnose faults on major equipment, checking for corrosion, bent or cracked parts. Carry out preventive and defect maintenance of major equipment. Reinstall, repaired units on locations and run off-load and stream tests to ensure proper operation. Check equipment and machinery for over-heating and leaks, and ensure that all safety devices are functioning normally. Update all maintenance records entering in the maintenance log the nature of the fault, the work carried out and the time, labour and materials used including any measured values recorded.
