Job Summary:
Manage the development requirements for eligible employees
Lead the implementation of Succession planning policy
Ensure career initiatives are address and monitored periodically.Roles and Responsibilities:
Career Paths
Develop, update and maintain the career and succession planning policy;
Develop mechanisms and frameworks to career paths for implementation;
Identify possible career paths – vertical / horizontal for eligible employees;
Set the implementation plan for career path plans, liaise with the manager of learning and development to ensure their coverage in the learning and development plans;
Meet with the eligible employees and their line managers to identify their potentials, way forward, challenges and development requirements;
Review the career requirements for each job family (technical and behavioral) and the necessary KSAs
Perform gap analysis (required KSAs and Possessed KSAs) for each position under each job family
Set the technical requirements required for each grade under each job family
Document the career path results for each employee, and monitor the execution plan periodically.
Provide periodic report to the HCD on the progress of career paths implementation.Succession Planning
Develop, update and maintain the Career path policy on a periodic basis;
Identify critical positions based on the criteria set in the SP policy;
Identify critical positions KSA requirements (technical and behavioral);
Develop the “Talent pools” who could potentially succeed critical position incumbent and pass the pre-established minimum requirement;
Perform a gap analysis on potential successors and link outcome with T&D section;
Develop Succession Planning IDP to monitor and review successor’s progress;
Evaluate employee development as per the set IDP to ensure a proper execution;
Provide periodic report to the HCD on the progress of Succession plans.

Capabilities / Skills:
Business capabilities:
6+ years of experience in a senior training and development position within a leading regional organization.
4+ experience in Developing succession plans and career paths
Excellent knowledge in job families (core and support)Interpersonal skills:
Knowledge of human resource management best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsKey Performance Indicators:
% of eligible staff covered with career paths
% of succession plan completion ( readiness of successor)
Satisfaction % of eligible employees on career paths and SP
