1.Duties
1.1 Social Media
• work with the Product development team to ensure social media tools (for ex. FB connect, Sharing buttons) are kept up to date
• manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
• manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other
• similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed
• become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
• manage a Blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the Company
• monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
• regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring into the Marketing and Editorial teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
• monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
1.2 Marketing
• sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press (local, regional, national and specialist publications) or on the radio (depending on the organization and the campaign)
• managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters and e-newsletters
• writing and proofreading copy
• liaising with designers and printers
• arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials
• maintaining and updating customer databases
• organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
• sourcing and securing sponsorship
• conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups
• contributing to and developing marketing plans and strategies
• managing budgets
• evaluating marketing campaigns
• monitoring competitor activity
• supporting the senior development manager and other colleagues.
1.3 PR
• Conducting PR campaigns for the company with all Bahraini media
• become an advocate of the Company in all media, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
1.4 Advertising
• Selling advertisement on Company’s self-service kiosks screens (to various advertisers across Bahrain)
