Sofomation - Qatar - JOB DESCRIPTION Undertakes Non-destructive testing on pressure containing plant equipment, pipeline and welded construction using special equipment and techniques to ensure structural integrity and plant safety. Carries out Ultrasonic examinations within the fields area. Supervises Industrial Radiography carried out by Contractors using Ir-192 radioactive source. Reviews radiographs, interprets them and submits concise reports. Prepares inspection reports outlining specific recommendations and liaises with planning engineers and field supervisors regarding their implementations. Assists WeldinglPlant Inspector in other day-today activities. Acts as a relief, during periods of Head of Inspection absence. B.Sc/HND or equivalent.
