Accountant

Abu Dhabi - Our Company – one of the world’s largest specialist geotechnical contractors – is looking for an Accountant on a twelve (12) month contract. The Accountant will be under the supervision of the Finance Manager and in charge of all accounting matters including:Establishing the monthly accounting financial statements on a strict time schedule. Making sure that the monthly financial statements (under IFRS rules) are done properly: ensuring that the stock of materials is updated and checked (the Accountant will liaise with the Operations Manager), all financial transactions reported and bank reconciliations done. Proposing payments to suppliers and subcontractors, also issuing the agreed payments. Preparing information for Group requirements in conjunction with the Finance Manager (monthly, quarterly).Define, with the Finance Manager, the Procurement Manager and the Operations Manager the procurement rules and check that they are properly applied.
